Contract Management
SEAFORCE team Contract Managers and sub contractors are currently managing a major contract with Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBP) in providing the Southern Ocean Maritime Patrol and Response Capability vessel the ACV Ocean Protector.
Training and Course Development
Our experienced and qualified training consultants and course developers successfully designed, developed and assisted with the delivery of the reinvigorated Engineer Officer’s Application Course conducted at HMAS CERBERUS. Our trainers have also analysed the Armidale Class Patrol Boat (ACPB) training and provided guidance on ways to improve the course material and the delivery mode. SEAFORCE regularly conducts training is risk and technical regulation and has also conducted a Training Needs Analysis for the Australian Customs and Border Protect Service.
Charter of Skandi Bergen from DOF ASA for Customs and Border Protection Ocean Protector
DOF ASA (DOF) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Geograph Shipping AS has secured a long term Bareboat Charter Contract in Australia for its vessel MV “Skandi Bergen”. The vessel is a Multipurpose Offshore Support Vessel, built and delivered in 2007. The term of the agreement is between 4 and 6 years initially. The Bareboat Charterer is SEAFORCE Pty Limited, of Fyshwick ACT, Australia. The vessel will serve a long term Charter Contract between the Bareboat Charterer and the Commonwealth of Australia represented by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Services. SEAFORCE has sub contracted Teekay Marine Pty. Limited to manage the ship during its tenure in Australia. The CEO of DOF, Mons S. Aase, states that DOF is very pleased to cooperate with SEAFORCE and the Australian Government, and this contract represents a great opportunity for an excellent and successful long term relationship with our Australian counterparts and its government.
Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)
Experienced ILS practitioners have been seconded into a number of Defence Materiel Organisation projects including the Armidale Patrol Boat System Program Office for SEA1444 in Darwin NT.
Marine Engineering and Design
Our experienced professional engineers have assisted the Centre for Marine Engineering (CME) with engineering design projects amongst other projects and roles.
