David and Vicki Miers together with Bryan Stapley are the principal officers of SEAFORCE, a successful Defence engineering consulting company based in Canberra, ACT with offices in Sydney and Perth.
SEAFORCE evolved in early 2008 from its highly successful predecessor, David Miers & Associates, DMAA, which over the previous ten years had established a model of contracting skilled professionals to service the Naval, Maritime and Defence industries.
SEAFORCE specialises in providing maritime and naval engineering services to Defence and Defence industry, in design assessment, engineering investigations, expert witness, technical regulation, management support, and tender preparation. SEAFORCE is also a provider of maritime assets with the supply of ACV Ocean Protector to Customs and Border Protection Services in 2010. More recently, SEAFORCE negotiated the sale of OSV Skandi Bergen to the Royal Australian Navy for purpose of disaster relief and humanitarian aid.
