David and Vicki Miers together with Bryan Stapley are the principal officers of SEAFORCE, a successful Defence engineering consulting company based in Canberra with offices in Darwin, Sydney and Perth. SEAFORCE specialises in providing specialist maritime and naval engineering services to Defence and Defence industry, in design assessment, engineering investigations, expert witness, technical regulation, management support, and tender preparation.
SEAFORCE is a relatively young company that evolved in early 2008 from its highly successful predecessor, David Miers & Associates, DMAA, which over the previous ten years had established a model of contracting skilled professionals to service the Naval, Maritime and Defence industries.
SEAFORCE services are primarily consultancy based whereby the company employs personnel to provide professional engineering services, typically from within client offices and premises. Our business principles are based on honesty, integrity and professionalism.
Company personnel have extensive practical experience in the areas of their employment and hold all necessary licences and qualifications.

The company has also acted for a prime contractor in the development of the Through-Life-Support proposal for Project Sea 1444 Replacement Patrol Boat, and is now providing engineering and sustainment and in-service support of the new Patrol Boats.
